What GotFoundByAI is
GotFoundByAI is a studio that builds complete, AI-ready digital foundations for businesses: websites, local search setup, structured data, lead tracking and, when a business needs one, a full software product. Every account and the code are handed to the owner, who is trained to run them. Each project is quoted as one fixed price, with no retainer afterward.

Who it is for, and who it is not for
GotFoundByAI is for owners who want their digital presence built correctly once and then want to own and run it themselves. That mainly means local service businesses such as contractors, home services, trades and specialty services, and also founders who need a web app, a subscription product or a marketplace built and handed over.
A good fit
- Local service businesses that want to be found in local search and described correctly by AI assistants.
- Owners who want every account, the domain and the code in their own name.
- Businesses replacing an old website that want their old links and search results to keep working.
- Owners who want to see how many calls and form leads the website actually produces.
- Owners running Google Ads who want the campaign set up as a documented system they can read.
- Founders who need a web app, subscription product or marketplace with accounts, payments and notifications built properly.
- Owners willing to spend some time on training so they can run things themselves after the handoff.
Not a fit
- Businesses that want someone else to run their marketing indefinitely.
- Businesses looking for a monthly retainer relationship.
- Anyone who needs a template site live in a day.
- Anyone who wants rankings or AI recommendations promised in advance.
- Owners who would rather the builder kept the accounts and logins.
- Businesses outside the United States.

Services
AI-ready website build
GotFoundByAI builds fast, server-rendered websites for service businesses, with every business fact kept in one place so the pages, the structured data and the machine-readable files never disagree.
What you get
- Home, service, service-area, FAQ, about and contact pages, plus privacy and terms pages
- One data file holding the business's name, phone, services, areas and any published prices, read by every page
- Mobile-first layout with tap-to-call on every page
- Images converted to modern formats and fonts loaded without slowing the page
- Installable on a phone home screen (web app manifest and icons)
- Hosting on the owner's own account with deploys from the code repository
Local search and Google Business Profile setup
GotFoundByAI sets the business up to be found by people searching nearby: a Google Business Profile in the owner's account, pages for each area served, and the same name, address and phone everywhere the site states them.
What you get
- Google Business Profile setup in the owner's own Google account
- A page for each city or county served, generated from one list
- Name, address and phone (NAP) typed once and checked automatically so no page can spell them differently
- Site verified in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
Structured data and technical SEO
GotFoundByAI adds machine-readable descriptions of the business to every page and fixes the technical signals search engines rely on, all generated from the same facts the visitor sees.
What you get
- Structured data (schema.org JSON-LD) for the business, its services, its FAQ and its service areas, generated from one builder
- Markup that only describes what is visible on the page
- One canonical address for every page and a title and description written for each
- A sitemap with true last-changed dates and a robots.txt that lets search and AI crawlers in
- Permanent redirects from any old addresses, checked one by one
Lead capture and tracking
GotFoundByAI turns the website into something that produces calls and form leads the owner can count.
What you get
- Estimate or contact forms that email each lead to the owner, with reply going straight to the visitor
- Spam protection checked on the server before any email is sent
- Tap-to-call links on every page from one shared phone component
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager installed in the owner's accounts
- An event recorded for every phone tap and every successful form, with the page it came from
AI-search readiness (GEO) audit and content
GotFoundByAI reviews how a business reads to search engines and AI assistants, writes down what to fix with the claims fact-checked, and writes answer-first content in the buyer's own words.
What you get
- A written audit: crawlability, robots rules for search and AI crawlers, structured data against visible text, and whether the business's facts agree everywhere
- A phased written plan with every claim checked against its source
- FAQ and explainer pages that answer real buyer questions in the first sentence
- An llms.txt file generated from the same data as the pages
- Removal of claims on the site that cannot be backed up
Software product engineering
GotFoundByAI builds web applications, subscription products and marketplaces with accounts, roles, payments, notifications and automated tests, and hands the code and accounts to the owner.
What you get
- Sign-in, roles, invitations and two-factor authentication
- Each customer's data kept separate in one database (row-level security)
- Subscription billing and marketplace payments (Stripe)
- Email and text-message notifications with consent and unsubscribe handling
- Automated tests, required checks before release, and monitoring after it
- Backups, runbooks and admin tools the owner can operate
Paid search setup (optional)
When an owner wants to run Google Ads, GotFoundByAI can set the campaign up as a documented system the owner can read and run; it does not manage ad spend on a retainer.
What you get
- Campaign and ad group structure matched to what buyers search for
- One landing page per ad group, built from the site's shared blocks
- Conversion tracking for phone taps and form leads
- Ad copy, negative keywords and search-term reviews kept on record
- Read-only reports, with any change to the account applied only after the owner approves it
Launch, handoff and owner training
GotFoundByAI launches the work, confirms the live site is serving the new build, and hands everything to the owner with training and written runbooks.
What you get
- Launch on the owner's hosting, checked against the live address
- Sitemap submitted in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
- Every account in the owner's name, with an inventory and transfer notes
- The code repository, documentation and numbered runbooks
- Logins handed over through a password manager
- Training on running and measuring what was built

Capabilities in detail
Websites for service businesses
GotFoundByAI builds multi-page sites that explain what a service business does, where it works and how to reach it.
- Service pages. Each service the business offers gets its own page, plus a hub page that links them all.
- Service-area pages. A page for each city or county served is generated from one list, so every area page stays consistent when a fact changes.
- Landing pages for ads. One landing page per ad group is built from shared blocks, with all the differing copy kept in a single file.
- FAQ and comparison pages. Buyer questions are answered on visible pages, including explainers that help a buyer choose between options.
- Offers, about, gallery and testimonials. Standing offers, the owner's story, photo galleries and customer quotes give buyers the facts they look for before calling.
- Privacy-friendly video. Videos are embedded in the mode that does not set tracking cookies (youtube-nocookie).
- Legal pages. Privacy and terms pages share one layout and name the tools the site actually uses.
- Fast images and fonts. Photos are converted to a smaller modern format (WebP) and fonts load without holding up the page.
- Installable on a phone. The site can be added to a phone's home screen like an app (web app manifest and icons).
- Mobile-first layout. Pages are designed for phones first, with a call button always within reach.
Finding you in local search
GotFoundByAI makes the business's identity and service area unmistakable to search engines.
- One source for name, address and phone. The business's name, address and phone (NAP) are typed once and read by every page, and an automatic check fails the build if they are typed anywhere else.
- Google Business Profile setup. The business's Google profile is set up in the owner's own Google account.
- Local business data per area. Each area page carries machine-readable business details for that area, including its location and the areas served.
- Search engine verification. The site is verified with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools so the owner can see how search engines read it.
- Search Console reports. Read-only reports show which pages are indexed and why any are not.
- One published price and rating. Any price or review rating the owner chooses to publish lives in one place, so no two pages can disagree.
- Website moves without lost links. When an old site or a second business site is folded in, every old address is mapped to its new page with a permanent redirect and checked one by one.
Being understood by AI and search engines
GotFoundByAI publishes specific, consistent facts in plain HTML that search engines and AI assistants can read and quote.
- Structured data from one builder. Machine-readable descriptions of the business, its services, its FAQ and its areas (schema.org JSON-LD) are generated from the same data as the page.
- Markup that matches the page. Structured data only describes what a visitor can see on that page.
- One knowledge layer. One typed data file holds the business's facts and feeds the pages, the structured data, llms.txt and the sitemap, as it does for this page.
- Canonical addresses and page titles. Every page names its one true address and carries its own title and description.
- Sitemaps with true dates. The sitemap reports when each page really last changed, taken from the code history (git).
- Crawler rules. The robots.txt file lets search and AI crawlers in and points them to the sitemap.
- Generated llms.txt. A plain-text summary of the business for AI tools is built from the same data as the pages, so nothing is typed twice.
- Answer-first writing. Pages answer the buyer's question in the first sentence, then give detail.
- Claims that can be checked. Statements on the site that cannot be backed up are removed and the removal is recorded.
Turning visitors into calls and leads
GotFoundByAI makes it easy to call or ask for a quote, and makes sure every lead reaches the owner.
- Tap-to-call everywhere. Every phone link on the site comes from one shared component, so each one dials the same number and is counted.
- Estimate request forms. Forms collect what the owner needs to quote, such as name, phone, address and job details.
- Leads emailed to the owner. Each form is checked on the server and emailed to the owner with reply set to the visitor (Resend).
- Spam protection. A spam check (reCAPTCHA) is verified on the server before any email is sent, and the form refuses to send if the check cannot run.
- One real phone number. The business's real number is kept on the site instead of swapped tracking numbers, so search engines and AI assistants always see the same one.
Measuring what happens
GotFoundByAI sets up measurement so the owner can see what the website and ads produce.
- Analytics and tag setup. Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager are installed in the owner's own accounts.
- Phone taps and form leads as events. Every phone tap and every successful form is recorded with the page and the spot on the page it came from.
- Traffic and lead reports. Reports show visits, phone taps by day and taps by landing page.
- Ad account reports. Read-only snapshots record ad quality scores, the searches that triggered ads and how competitors appear in the same auctions.
- Changes only with approval. Scripts that change analytics or ad settings only preview by default and apply a change after the owner approves it.
- Numbers tied to sources. A running log of key numbers starts from a day-zero baseline, and every number points to the file it came from.
Software products: accounts, roles and security
GotFoundByAI builds sign-in, permissions and data protection into software products from the start.
- Sign-in and account recovery. Users sign up, confirm their email, sign in and reset or change their password (Supabase Auth).
- Each customer's data kept apart. Many companies share one database while the database itself blocks each one from seeing another's data (row-level security), and tests prove it.
- Roles and invitations. Owners invite people and give each a role, including read-only roles and admins with specific permissions.
- Two-factor sign-in. Users can add a second sign-in step with an authenticator app, with recovery codes and new-device checks.
- Password and login protection. Known-breached passwords are refused, and repeated failed logins trigger a lockout and rate limits.
- Security headers and input checks. A strict content security policy and validation of every incoming request keep bad input out.
- Audit trails and signed agreements. Important actions are logged, and legal documents are versioned, with each acceptance recorded and saved as a signed PDF.
- White-label branding. A product can carry a partner's own logo, colors and web address, with custom domains connected automatically.
- Public API with scoped keys. Other software can connect through a documented API, using keys limited to exactly what they may do.
- Account deletion and data retention. Accounts can be closed and deleted, and old data is purged on a set schedule.
Software products: payments, money and records
GotFoundByAI builds payment and money handling that keeps an exact, permanent record of every amount.
- Subscriptions. Customers can subscribe, start a trial, manage their plan and get notices when a payment fails (Stripe Billing).
- Marketplace payments. Buyers pay by card through secure pay links, and sellers receive payouts, with refunds, disputes and holds handled.
- A permanent money ledger. Money is stored in whole cents in a record that cannot be edited after the fact, so mistakes are fixed with correcting entries.
- Automatic money checks. Scheduled checks confirm the books still balance and that billing matches the payment processor.
- Bank connections. Bank accounts connect securely, transactions sync in, and rules sort them into categories (Plaid).
- Receipt capture on a phone. The edges of a receipt in a phone photo are found automatically for cropping, and its details are read to fill in the entry.
- Financial reports and exports. Standard reports such as profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow export to PDF and spreadsheet, and existing QuickBooks data can be imported.
- AI-assisted data entry. AI can fill in forms and import data from spreadsheets, Word files and PDFs without ever overwriting what the owner typed.
- Distance-based pricing. Addresses autocomplete as they are typed, and fees can be set by travel distance.
Notifications, messaging and in-app help
GotFoundByAI builds the messages a product sends and the help users find inside it.
- Transactional email. Dozens of branded emails, from welcome messages to order updates, are sent automatically (Resend and React Email).
- Email deliverability checks. The sending domain's email records are checked so messages land in the inbox rather than spam.
- Text messages with consent. Text messages go only to people who agreed to them, and replying STOP is honored (Twilio).
- Notifications and broadcasts. Users get alerts across email, text and in-app channels, and every broadcast carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- Scheduled emails. Reports and account notices can be emailed on a schedule, each with its own unsubscribe link.
- Calendar export. Appointments and dates can be added to any calendar app with one file (.ics).
- Help center and guided setup. Users get in-app help articles and a step-by-step setup when they first sign in.
Quality, testing and safe releases
GotFoundByAI checks work automatically before it reaches users; software products carry full automated test suites, and smaller sites pass lint, type and build checks before every release.
- Automated tests. Software products run hundreds of automated tests, including database tests on a fresh copy of the database.
- Full user journeys in a real browser. Browser tests click through whole journeys, including a complete money journey from payment to payout (Playwright).
- Screen-by-screen checks. Interface pieces are tested on desktop, touch, phone and print layouts (Storybook).
- Required checks before release. No change merges until the automated checks pass (GitHub Actions).
- Separate test and live environments. Local, staging and production environments are kept apart, with guards that stop test work from touching live data.
- Staged rollouts. A new release goes to a small share of users first and to everyone only after it has run cleanly.
- Checks after each release. Automatic smoke tests confirm the live product still works after every release.
- Single-source checks on small sites. A custom check fails the build if a phone number, price or old brand name is typed outside its one approved place.
Operations, backups and recovery
GotFoundByAI builds the tools and written procedures that keep a product running and recoverable.
- Error and uptime monitoring. Errors are reported with personal data stripped out (Sentry), and uptime and heartbeat checks are defined in code.
- Health checks. Each product has a health address that reports whether it is up and working.
- Scheduled jobs. Recurring work such as data syncs, scheduled reports and clean-ups runs on a fixed schedule.
- Backups with restore drills. The database is backed up daily to storage outside the main provider, and restoring it is tested.
- Secrets kept safe. Passwords and keys stay out of the code and live in a managed vault (AWS Secrets Manager), with guards against using the wrong account.
- Written recovery runbooks. Step-by-step procedures cover incidents, rolling back a release and rotating secrets.
- Controlled database changes. Every change to the database goes through a numbered, reviewed migration, never by hand.
- Admin consoles. Owners get admin screens to manage users, approvals and day-to-day operations.
- Fraud and anomaly checks. Automatic checks flag unusual activity for review.
Owner handoff and training
GotFoundByAI hands over everything in a form the owner, or whoever the owner hires next, can pick up and run.
- Account inventory. A list of every account the business uses, who owns it and how to transfer it.
- Numbered owner runbooks. Step-by-step guides cover tasks such as analytics setup, Google sign-in, shared file access and accounting exports.
- A map of the project. One starting document explains where everything lives, for a new person or an AI assistant picking up the work.
- Instructions for the next developer. The code repository carries written rules for working on it safely, readable by a person or an AI coding assistant.
- Logins through a password manager. Logins are handed over through a password manager, never in plain email or in the code.
- Records built to transfer. Records are kept so the business, or one of its brands, can be handed to a new owner cleanly.
Marketing operations
GotFoundByAI can set up marketing as a written system the owner can read, check and keep running.
- Decision log. Every marketing decision is recorded with who made it, why and what happened, and entries are never edited.
- Experiment log. Each test has a method and ends with a keep or kill verdict.
- Key numbers log. Results are tracked from a day-zero baseline, each number tied to its source.
- Program rules. Written rules set money guardrails, such as no change in spend without the owner's go, and truth rules for every claim.
- Google Ads as a documented system. Ad copy, quality score baselines, negative keywords, search-term reviews and competitor reads are all kept on record.
- Channel map and competitor tracker. Free, paid and offline channels are mapped, and competitors are tracked with a written method.
- Short-form video pipeline. Videos are planned in batches and published from one place, with a ledger that refuses to post the same video twice.
- Income by source. Accounting exports are turned into monthly income by marketing channel, with duplicates blocked.
- Print collateral. Flyers are built from web pages and exported as print-ready PDFs.

The handoff and owner training
At handoff the owner receives everything needed to run the business's digital presence without GotFoundByAI: every account in the owner's name, the code, the written instructions and the training to use them.
What the owner receives
- Every account the business runs on, in the owner's own name: domain, hosting, Google Business Profile, Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console and any others the project used
- An inventory of those accounts with transfer notes
- The code repository
- Documentation and numbered runbooks for the tasks the owner will do
- The marketing record, where marketing was part of the work: decision log, experiment log, key numbers log and reports
- Logins handed over through a password manager
What the owner learns
- Where each account lives and how to give or remove access
- Reading calls, form leads and visits in Google Analytics
- Checking how search engines see the site in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
- Keeping the Google Business Profile current
- Following the runbooks for routine tasks
- How to brief the next developer, or an AI coding assistant, using the repository's own instructions
After the handoff
The owner runs it. GotFoundByAI does not hold back any account, code or data, and there is nothing to cancel. Further work, if the owner wants it, is quoted the same way as the first project: one fixed price, agreed before work starts.
07
How long things take
| Work | Typical time | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed-price quote | After the first short call, before any work starts | |
| Website for a service business | Set in the quote; depends on page count and how ready the content is | The biggest variable is usually how quickly the owner can supply facts, photos and account access. |
| Software product (web app, subscription product or marketplace) | Months, delivered in working slices; set in the quote | Larger products are built and released in slices, and each slice passes the automated checks before it ships. |
| Handoff and owner training | At launch, as part of the fixed price | |
| Search engines picking up new pages | Days to weeks after launch, on the search engine's schedule | Submitting the sitemap in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools helps discovery, but crawling is not under the builder's control. |
| Being named by AI assistants | No set timeline | AI and search visibility depends on crawling, on the competition in the area and on signals outside the website, such as reviews. It cannot be promised, and GotFoundByAI does not promise when or whether an AI assistant will recommend a business. |
08
How pricing works
Every project is quoted as a fixed price after a short call, before any work starts. There is no retainer and no lock-in after the handoff.
- Every project is one fixed price, quoted after a short call and before any work starts.
- The quote covers the project through launch, handoff and owner training.
- There is no retainer and no monthly fee to GotFoundByAI.
- There is no lock-in: the owner keeps every account, the code and the data, and there is nothing to cancel after the handoff.
- Accounts are opened in the owner's name, so any fees from outside providers, such as the domain registrar or an ad platform, are billed to the owner directly.
- Any later work is quoted the same way, as its own fixed price.

Questions buyers ask
What does GotFoundByAI do?
GotFoundByAI builds a business's complete digital foundation (website, local search setup, structured data, lead tracking and, when needed, a full software product) and then hands every account, the code and the instructions to the owner. The work is quoted as one fixed price, and after a handoff with training the owner runs it.
Who is GotFoundByAI for?
GotFoundByAI is for owners who want their digital presence built correctly once and then want to own and run it themselves. That mainly means local service businesses such as contractors, home services, trades and specialty services, and also founders who need a web app, a subscription product or a marketplace built.
What does "AI-ready" mean?
An AI-ready website is one that search engines and AI assistants can crawl, read as plain text and understand without guessing. In practice that means pages rendered as ordinary HTML with specific facts, one source for the business's name, phone, services and prices that every page and the structured data read, a sitemap with true dates, and robots rules that let search and AI crawlers in. It is careful search engine work, not a special trick.
What is GEO?
GEO (generative engine optimization) is the work of making a business easy for AI answer engines, such as ChatGPT, Google's AI Overviews, Perplexity and Claude, to find, understand and describe correctly. Google says its AI features need no special files or markup beyond a normal, indexable page, so GEO overlaps heavily with good SEO: clear, specific, checkable facts on pages crawlers can read.
Can GotFoundByAI promise that AI assistants will recommend my business?
No. Whether an AI assistant names a business depends on what it has crawled, on the competition in the area and on signals outside the website, such as reviews, and no builder controls those. What GotFoundByAI does is remove the technical reasons a machine might misread the business and put specific, consistent facts where search engines and AI assistants can read them.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The code, the domain and every account the business runs on are in the owner's name, and the owner receives the code repository at handoff. GotFoundByAI keeps nothing the owner would have to ask for back.
What happens after the handoff?
The owner runs it. The owner has every account, the code, the runbooks and the training, and there is no retainer to keep paying. If the owner wants more work later, it is quoted the same way as the first project.
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted as a fixed price after a short call, before any work starts. There is no retainer and no lock-in after the handoff. Any fees charged by outside providers, such as the domain registrar or an ad platform, are billed to the owner's own accounts.
How long does a website take?
The schedule is set in the quote, before work starts, because it depends on how many pages the site needs and how quickly the owner can supply facts, photos and account access. After launch, search engines and AI assistants pick the site up on their own schedule, which no builder controls.
Do you do Google Ads?
GotFoundByAI can set up a Google Ads search campaign as a documented system, but it does not manage ad spend on a monthly retainer. The setup can include campaign and ad group structure, one landing page per ad group, conversion tracking for calls and forms, negative keywords, and written reviews of the searches that triggered the ads. Changes to the account are made only with the owner's approval, and the ad spend is billed to the owner's own account.
Can you build an app or a marketplace?
Yes. GotFoundByAI has built subscription software products and a two-sided marketplace platform, with accounts and roles, two-factor sign-in, card payments and payouts, email and text notifications, and automated tests. Those projects are quoted the same way, as a fixed price, and the code and accounts belong to the owner.
Can you take over my existing website?
Yes. GotFoundByAI can rebuild an existing site on a new foundation and carry its old addresses over with permanent redirects, checked one by one, so old links and search results land on the right new page.
What do you need from me?
GotFoundByAI needs the business's facts, accounts opened in the owner's name, and some of the owner's time. That means the services, area served, phone and any prices to publish; photos; access to the domain and Google accounts; a short call at the start; a review of the work before launch; and time for training at the handoff.
Is there a contract or a retainer?
There is no retainer. Each project is agreed as a fixed-price quote before any work starts, and nothing continues after the handoff unless the owner asks for new work, which is quoted the same way.
What does GotFoundByAI not do?
GotFoundByAI does not run a business's marketing on a monthly retainer, does not promise rankings or AI recommendations, and does not keep the owner's accounts or code in its own name. It also does not produce template sites in a day: every project starts with a short call and a fixed-price quote.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
The difference is ownership: the owner ends up owning and running everything. GotFoundByAI builds the foundation, hands over every account, the code and written runbooks, and trains the owner, instead of keeping the work on a monthly retainer. The price is fixed before the work starts.
Where is GotFoundByAI located, and who do you serve?
GotFoundByAI serves businesses across the United States and works remotely, by call and email.
Does my site need llms.txt or other special AI files?
No special file is required. Google says its AI features use ordinary indexed pages and that it ignores llms.txt, so the real work is clear, crawlable pages with specific facts. GotFoundByAI still generates an llms.txt file from the same data as the pages because it costs nothing, but does not count it as a reason anyone will find the business.
How do I start?
Send a short note through the contact form at https://www.gotfoundbyai.com/#contact or email richnicholpro@gmail.com. GotFoundByAI replies to set up a short call, and if the project is a fit, a fixed-price quote follows before any work starts.
